We are a husband and wife owned Integrative Medicine clinic founded in 2005 right here in Boulder, CO. We have been extensively trained by experts and in some cases the creators of some of these intravenous recipes. We attend ongoing conferences and IV re-certification. We comply with OSHA safety guidelines and use only hospital grade supplies.

Over the last 15 years its become very clear that IV treatments can help improve cold/flu symptoms, recovery, hangovers and fatigue. Some of our intravenous treatments are approved by the FDA for the treatment of conditions such as heavy metal poisoning, dehydration and nutritional deficiency. High dose intravenous vitamin C is currently being shown to be safe and effective for the treatment of some cancers along with chemotherapy.

Intravenous hydration and vitamins are contraindicated in some medical conditions and these are screened for by our medical staff prior to making the appointment. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the state of Colorado.

Nutritional/ Myers Cocktail 

The “Myers cocktail” is a nutrient cocktail invented by John Myers, a physician from Baltimore, Maryland and popularized by his colleague Alan Gaby, MD. Since the early 1980s this mixture of B vitamins, electrolytes and vitamin C has been used successfully at our facility for athletic performance, recovery and chronic fatigue. Alan Gaby, MD taught us how to administer this IV.

This is a Myers cocktail with the addition of glutathione, a powerful detoxifier of alcohol and general liver detox agent.

Cold/Flu Fighter 

A Myers cocktail with a strong immune stimulant. This formula is more aggressive for treating colds and flu.

Vitamin C (Ascorbate) 

Based on the work of Linus Pauling, noted Nobel prize winner, this is a high dose [25 grams (25,000 mg)] of vitamin C.  At this high dose, vitamin C inhibits viral replication and lowers viral load. Previous studies also show benefits on immune function and cardiovascular function, especially circulation. Intravenous ascorbate has been researched fairly extensively.

This 2007 study was done right here in Boulder, Colorado: High-dose ascorbic acid infusion abolishes chronic vasoconstriction and restores resting leg blood flow in healthy older men. J Appl Physiol (1985). 2007 Nov;103(5):1715-21.  See bottom of page for more studies.


This is a 500 ml bag of normal saline, the standard IV used in hospitals for dehydration. This IV is very helpful for recovering from sickness such as diarrhea and vomiting and adjusting to high altitude. Athletes also will do one of these after training in the summer heat. You get a “deep hydration” much faster than through an oral route.

B12 Injection 

B12 injections can help reduce fatigue and improve metabolism. It’s possible to experience changes in appetite, improved sleep and better exercise performance.
