We are an integrative, naturopathic medical clinic in Boulder and the only one of its kind in the area. We have an MD on staff who is versed in alternative medicine and who takes care of prescription needs and IV orders. We have four naturopathic doctors on staff. Our Naturopathic Doctors are all graduates of CNME accredited post-doctorate naturopathic colleges. Dr. Kelly and Steve Parcell have also completed extensive internships with prominent medical doctors after graduating from Bastyr University. Dr Denise Clark has spent over 8 years working alongside an MD with a specialty in Lyme disease. Dr. Kirsten West has also observed and worked alongside oncology experts and researchers at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Cancer Treatment Centers of America and Centers for Cancer Care. Our doctors work together with each patient to provide the best possible outcomes towards optimal health.
Our naturopathic philosophy:
Every person and condition is unique, and we work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that will offer the greatest benefit. By addressing the underlying cause of disease, we can optimize health, extend your “health span” and help you avert expensive medical procedures and illnesses. Your benefit is disease prevention and peace of mind.We will spend the time it takes to answer all your questions and develop a detailed, long-term treatment plan that addresses all of your health concerns.
What makes us unique?
We “bridge the gap” between conventional and alternative medicine. We are the experts in naturopathic, alternative, complementary, integrative and holistic medicine. This training and experience allows us to provide the best of both worlds. We offer prescriptions as well as nutritional and herbal therapies to achieve results. We work together in the clinic as a team to provide comprehensive care as well as an openness to work with you off site medical doctor to ensure continuity of care.
What is the first visit like?
You will meet with one of our naturopathic doctors on the first visit. We use laboratory testing, detailed physical examination and medical history to assess each patient. A plan of action will be outlined, which can include further testing, clinical nutrition, exercise prescription, alternative and naturopathic therapeutics. If there are prescriptive needs or IV needs, you will also meet with our MD who can take care of these particular needs as well as to offer her input regarding your healthcare.
Please bring in copies of all relevant lab tests to your initial visit as well as your dietary supplements and current prescriptions. We are a full-service clinic providing annual exams and blood testing when necessary. We do not provide emergency care and encourage patients to retain their insurance-based primary care provider as a part of their health-care team. We work well with providers throughout Colorado to optimize the health of our patients as a team. We choose not to contract with insurance companies, which allows us to provide you with the care you need and deserve. Initial visits are typically 60 to 90 minutes.
All new patients must have an initial new patient visit to establish care.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 9-5pm, Friday 9-3pm
