January 2008: Fran Mason, MD joins NatureMed

We are pleased welcome Dr. Fran Mason to our practice!
A board-certified medical oncologist, internist, and sports medicine specialist, Dr Mason is a nationally-recognized expert in cancer survivorship, fitness, and recovery.

She was educated at Swarthmore College, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and the University of Pennsylvania, where she did post-graduate fellowship training and served on the medical school faculty.

Author of the acclaimed book The FORCE Program - the Proven Way to Fight Cancer Through Physical Activity and Exercise she lectures widely and serves on the board of Rocky Mountain Team Survivor. Fran is medical advisor for the Pinnacle Center for Cancer Survivorship. She is a competitive distance runner and triathlete who enjoys participating in activities with patients.

Her focus at NatureMed is sports medicine. She is also helping us offer integrated care.
